George Clarke's Old House, New Home - insulated window cills used in renovation of a lovely home in Pentire, Newquay

Our window cills are custom made out of durable closed cell high density foam cores and fibreglassed in UV stable eco epoxy resin.  We use a CNC machine to get the profiles exactly as required, particularly the curved cills to suit the beautiful curved windows.  The windows and the cills met exactly and were engineered from the same drawings.

The time scales were very tight but we pulled it off in time to meet the demanding deadlines introduced when the original supplier of the cills provided a shoddy product and owners decided to find a new supplier.

Insulated cills are essential when you consider that a concrete cill provides a cold bridge.  The property was renovated with external insulation and leaving leaving the old cills in situ with insulated windows and insulated exterior insulation was pointless.
